Elf the Musical JR. Comes Singing Its Way Onto The Renaissance Center Stage The Renaissance Players are proud to announce another first Young Entertainers production for 2019, Elf the Musical, JR. directed by Sommer Pearson. Performances are December 6-15 in the Performance Hall at the Renaissance Center. ELF is the sweet tale of the young orphan Buddy who crawls into Santa?s gift bag and is transported to the North Pole. As Buddy grows up, his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities force him to face the truth that he is human after all. Buddy sets off to New York City to find his birth father and reconnect. Along the way, Buddy helps all of New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern Christmas classic is sure to warm everyone?s hearts. ?Elf, JR is about Christmas spirit. It?s about love and happiness and family. It?s everything good about the holiday season without your crazy uncle,? says director Sommer Pearson. ?It?s been such a fun show to direct, and it?s going to be great fun to watch. I particularly loved working on the scene between Buddy and Fake Santa, and I think the audience is going to love it.? Performances are December 6, 7, 13, & 14 at 7:00 pm, and December 7 & 15 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are available at www.renplayers.com.
