DESCRIPTION:"Hey you guys!"\n\n\n\nThe Dickson Parks and Recreation Department's Movie in the Park has been rescheduled for Friday\, Oct. 17.\n\n\n\nTo close the Music in the Park Series\, the department originally planned a special movie in Holland Park for Sept. 5\, but the threat of storms forced it to be cancelled.\n\n\n\nNow\, the Parks and Recreation Department will present a special free outdoor showing of the classic 1985 adventure comedy movie "The Goonies" at 7 pm on Oct. 17\, sponsored by Arrow Exterminators.\n\n\n\nDirected by Richard Donner ("The Omen\," "Superman" and "Lethal Weapon") from a screenplay by Chris Columbus ("Home Alone\," "Gremlins" and "Young Sherlock Holmes") based on a story by Steven Spielberg ("Jaws\," "Raiders of the Lost Ark\," "E.T. the Extraterrestrial" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind")\, "The Goonies" follows a group of boys who find a treasure map that leads them on a grand adventure.\n\n\n\nThe film's cast includes Sean Astin ("Rudy\," "The Lord of the Rings" and "Memphis Belle")\, Josh Brolin ("Hollow Man\," "No Country for Old Men" and "Guardians of the Galaxy")\, Corey Feldman ("Gremlins\," "Stand by Me" and "The Lost Boys")\, the film debut of Keri Green ("Lucas")\, Ke Huy Quan ("Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and Academy Award-winner for "Everything Everywhere All at Once") and Joe Pantoliano ("Risky Business\," "The Fugitive" and "The Identical\," which filmed many scenes in Dickson).
