In 2009 along with his wife (Lori Forte) he formed R&F Communications\, Inc. to purchase Dickson's heritage station WDKN 1260 AM and two years later translator frequency 101.5 FM. He is a 2016 Graduate of National Association of Broadcasters' Leadership Training Program and currently serves as a board member of Tennessee Association of Broadcasters. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Dickson and is a graduate of Leadership Dickson. A native of Little Rock\, Arkansas and graduate of Harding University and received an MBA from University of Phoenix Nashville Campus.
